we are finally on rottnest island, Western Australia.
its 40 minutes ferry ride from Perth.
 
really relaxed already, with no cars allowed, just walking
or riding bicycles around the small island.
 
the fishing is great here !
lots of fish, lobsters, squid.
 
and anyone with boats...its like seafood heaven.
 
i'm working here for 2 weeks.

we are heading home to Perth, western australia.
 
its been 3 months in Cairns Queensland, and its been beautiful !
 
a true blessing to stay here in Cairns
 
but now we head back to visit our home town : Perth !

i was confronted the other night by a half drunken man
swearing and raising his voice at me, as i was catching crabs.
 
i didn't pass the test of being meek very well...
 
i didn't stay silent and walked away.
 
i said...there is no need to swear. and mind your own business.
before walking away.
 
but i was angry inside, and thoughts of using my black belt tae-kwon-do
on him many times of how much damage i can really do.
or thoughts about taunting him with my own words...it took 1 whole night
and day to rid these thoughts...
 
and reminded myself how the Lord really was meek and mild when
so many people were yelling at him, angry, shouting, and even
abusing and hitting him...etc, and he didnt retaliate...
 
i admire the Lord for that level of self control, and meekness
 
he is the role model for me to follow
