i'm waiting for the day
when i go to Heaven's shores
seeing the mighty gates
guarded by those warrior Angels
and the city of lights
and the undying mighty trees.
 
The tall mountains and hills
lakes and waterfalls.
of Angels with wings.
Walk in Granduer Halls.
 
and the Heavenly throne
of our Mighty humble King
i wanted to sit or walk by his side
along with Alison
and just spend some quality time
with Emmanuel...Jesus...our Creator.

and now in Los Angeles.
its a big city which is flat mostly with distant
hills of Hollywood and Beverley Hills, and  the
distant mountains, which we can see still has snow.
 
beyond the mountains will be desert and las Vegas.
 
Its a sunny place...like Australia.
its a busy place, but not rushed and crowded like
Hong Kong, or Saigon.
 
There are lots of rich people, homeless people, poor
and many more middle of the road.
 
Lots of different races of people all living here !
Mexicans and hispanics. african americans, and
caucasians, and asians...and filipinos.
 
so its a global village ! a big one !
 
its nice to get up the hills of hollywood  : mulholland drive
to see the whole city !
 
we are doing a night tour tonight ! should be good.
 
God bless the californias ...whether visitors, natives, immigrants,
locals, tourists or aliens...

Hong Kong is amazing.
 
busy, crowded. lots of chinese !
food is nice.
shopping galore.
saw stanley bay..the double decker bus ride was great.
saw the peak, with the tram going up hill at 30degrees.
saw the lights show for the city skyscrappers at 8pm each night.
 
the people are friendly enough..

i think santa clause has many things that
Father God has.
 
the white hair and beard and moustache !
the deep gentle laugh : ho ho ho !
the little children loves them !
the joy he brings !
the expectation of the gifts !
 
so when i see a santa clause around
he just reminds me more of father God.
 
only father God dont have the big tummy
and he is way taller
and he is father more generous with gifts
and his sled is much more glorious...angles
and cherubs and chariot of horses
and the robe is far longer !
 
yes, i love my Majestic Abba Father.

Heavenly father : i feel close to you in times of being alone.
when i'm free at work, or in my car driving, i think of you.
thinking of ways to sing, which songs to sing, and how
i can do it better.  singing with a worship CD or just
in silence, or just a little outloud whilst driving.  i dont need
to speed at all.
 
heavenly Father : i trust that you will help me in my
daily duties at work as a doctor, and daily life as
husband and with my families and friends.  i cant
do it alone.  i want to be joyful, and then i want to
be at peace, not causing anyone harm, hurts.  but sometimes
this is difficult, and so i need your guidance.
 
heavenly father : when i stop and listen, i hear your
whispers in my mind.  you fatherly voice, the gentle
way that you speak to me, the way you explain, the
way you teach. its so..hmm..fatherly...so kind and
gentle, and yet so authoritatively wise.  surely there
isn't a father with such love and understanding on
earth like you.

we had a fantastic 2 weeks on rottnest...and this is our last day.
we are heading back to Perth tomorow.
 
but today ! at the 'basin' where lots of people snorkel
i found some large sea-snails...periwinkles ! good to cook and eat.
 
lots of korean students were visiting the island, and its good to
see their fun and laughters.

its 40 minutes ferry ride from Perth.
 
really relaxed already, with no cars allowed, just walking
or riding bicycles around the small island.
 
the fishing is great here !
lots of fish, lobsters, squid.
 
and anyone with boats...its like seafood heaven.
 
i'm working here for 2 weeks.

i was confronted the other night by a half drunken man
swearing and raising his voice at me, as i was catching crabs.
 
i didn't pass the test of being meek very well...
 
i didn't stay silent and walked away.
 
i said...there is no need to swear. and mind your own business.
before walking away.
 
but i was angry inside, and thoughts of using my black belt tae-kwon-do
on him many times of how much damage i can really do.
or thoughts about taunting him with my own words...it took 1 whole night
and day to rid these thoughts...
 
and reminded myself how the Lord really was meek and mild when
so many people were yelling at him, angry, shouting, and even
abusing and hitting him...etc, and he didnt retaliate...
 
i admire the Lord for that level of self control, and meekness
 
he is the role model for me to follow

we are here on airlie beach, the whitsunday islands ! wow !!!!
its australia's own version of the greek islands ! or the carribean !
or the seashells, maritius ! rottnest islands.
 
why ?
 
the islands and mountain / hills are everywhere ! paradise..
and !
the colour of the beaches, oceans, bays, sea is beautiful !
torquoise !
blue !
aqua !
azures!
shades of light blue, mixed with deep blue, with dark blue
and light green !
 
i have only seen these colours of the ocean in tahiti, greek islands,
turkish coastline !!!
 
beautiful !
 
and its best viewed from high in the hills over the bays...
 
the higher the view, the better !  so imagine heaven !!

In cairns, Queensland, there are so many races of people.
 
there are the people from england, scotland, wales, and Ireland.
there are swedish, danish, french, and germans
there are other europeans
there are lots of asians : japanese, koreans, chinese, malaysians
and pacific island people : papua newguineans, vanuatuans, maoris
there are aborigines
there are of course ausssies and kiwis
some from USA and canada
and even from afric, middleeast and indians
and some vietnamese, thai, cambodians !
 
theres always someone from somewhere in the world !
 
global village !
imagine all these people, living as one !
thats a glimpse of heaven !

we are finally back in Cairns, far north queensland, Australia.
 
this is our 4th year travelling, serving the Lord.
 
we went to Ireland and Europe for the past 3 years...and it has been a blessed
adventure !
 
travelled all around Ireland.
 
greece (greek islands : Santorini, Mykonos, crete, zankynthos, samos, Kos, Athens, Olympia)
 
turkey (bodrum, kusadasi, Ephesus, Istanbul, Marmaris)
 
Italy (saw Rome, and the Vatican city and the church, naples, sorrento, leaning tower of Pisa, Florence)
 
Spain (malaga, Cardiz, Vigo, Barcelona !)
 
Portugal (Lisbon, Madeira )
 
France (Nice, Villefrance !)
 
Tunisia !!!
 
Egypt. (cairo and the pyramids)
 
Sardinia !
 
Scilily !
 
We did 4 cruises around the mediterranean, and lots of boat trips around
the turkish coast/greece.
 
the mediterranean is really beautiful !
 
and God has blessed us to have the funds and time to travel and to
serve him, as well as having adventures !

we are in Singapore airport, on the way back from Europe to
Queensland Australia.
 
we had 14 days of cruising around the mediterranean, and it
was fantastic.
we really like Villefrance and the french Riveria.
 
then we had a tour of London city for a day, and that was
surprising.  London city is beautiful !
 
now in Singapore airport, and its raining.
but free internet access throughout the airport !!!
 
well, our next destination is Cairns in far north Queensland
Australia.  Hopefully to visit the great barrier reef again
and the tropical rain forrests and mountain streams to
swim in.
 
God has been very gracious to us in all our travels and appointments
and missions.
 
He truly is very Good, and our exceeding great reward.
